Tourism is actually at its height in the months of July and August. By the time October hits, with new leaves falling out, the fall season begins and Detroit enters its most vibrant era. The winter season begins to reign over the city from November through April. The air is cold enough for you to sit at home.
This season's only attraction is the Annual Car Show, held on Downtown's frozen streets. In May comes the spring season. The atmosphere is very volatile, but this season should be taken into account to deter crowds.
